Group

Introduction

Studioannamora offers group lessons in Pilates Mat, Gyrokinesis, Yoga, Ballet and BOSU.

To guarantee personal attention for every participant we keep our groups small.

Group lessons are directed to increase participants’ general condition and personal well-being.

For group classes we distinguish several performance levels. Every level knows it’s own challenges and pace. To make sure you can work according to your physical capabilities we do a first try out class so the trainer can advice you which level suits you best.

Beginners lessons focus on learning to perform a variety of basic exercises. Your objective is to learn to perform all exercises with proper breathing, focus and core stability.

Intermediate lessons are intended for those who have done more than 30 lessons and who are strong enough to perform all basic exercises at an appropriate level.

Advance lessons are for those who have developed an understanding of the method and can perform to such an extent that they are ready for more difficult exercises.

Group lessons are taught all year round in periods of three months.

A group session lasts 1.15 hour.

 

Pilates Matwork

Building on the principles of Joseph Pilates, Studio Annamora works on developing a strong “core,” or center of the body. The core consists of the deep abdominal muscles along with the muscles closest to the spine. Pilates exercises develop core control, integrating the trunk, pelvis and shoulder girdle.

Gyrokinesis

demonstration gyrokinesisGyrokinesis® method was developed by Juliu Horvath, a gymnast, ballet dancer and a swimmer. When many injuries and pain severely limited his physical abilities, he set out to find a way to recover. His search led him to the study of yoga. His intense practice and deep personal experiences resulted in the creation of this original system. He spent many more years teaching and focusing on making the system accessible to people at almost any level of physical capacity. He invented exercise equipment and an accompanying exercise system called GYROTONIC® based on the same principles.

Classical Ballet

demonstration balletAs ‘the mother of dance’ Classical Ballet integrates all the essentials: balance, alignment, strength, flexibility and coordination. My lessons add the passion and joy for dancing to the classical vocabulary.

The classes consist of small groups allowing room for personal attention and the possibility to work from your strengths.
