Here please find a description of the summer weekend 18 and 19 July 2009.
The weekend will be given at the studio 1, Volkskrantgebouw Wibaustraat 150 in Amsterdam.
Weekend Workshops:
Studio 1 - Saturday July 18 - Improvisation - 13:00-16:00
Studio 1 - Sunday July 19 - Composition - 10:30-13:30

Improvisation:
We will learn to use our bodies as a creative tool. Our body is a whole, from our minds to our organs, to our personal histories and interests, our desires and fears. Everything is inscribed in our bodies.
We will work on/with:
Bodily experiences, improvisation techniques, use of voice-text and music.
For this workshop please bring music that you identify with and music that create and specific reaction on you (sadness, happiness, nostalgia, fear, excitement, etc)
Composition:
We will study the use of our own creativity for the creation of new realities every time.
How does my action relate to every other action in the space-time and to space-time itself.
How do all those relationships create a meaningful event? Space and time awareness, rhythm and sound, release, flow, intensity, speed, weight, volume, density, rhythm, balance, pause, flow will be some of the tools we'll used as a departure point for own research.
At the end of the day you will be able to create an own choreography as a group.
