The advice for everyone is to start with a series of at least 10 privates lessons before joining a group class.
Starting with private lessons:
- Never done Pilates or yoga before.
- Chronic Injuries of any type that limit your mobility range of motion or coordination.
- Pain of any type when performing your daily activities that restrict your mobility.
Starting with group lessons:
- Being familiar with the Pilates method, Yoga or Gyrotonics.
- Having a good general health condition
- Being a very sportive kind of person, dancer or mover.
Introduction to Pilates method
For those who are totally new to the method we offer a 14-week introduction course.
Beginners lessons focus on learning to perform a variety of basic exercises. Your objective is to learn to perform all exercises with proper breathing, focus and core stability.
Intermediate lessons are intended for those who have done more than 30 lessons and who are strong enough to perform all basic exercises at an appropriate level.
Advance lessons are for those who have developed an understanding of the method and can perform to such an extent that they are ready for more challenging exercises.
Group lessons
We offer group lessons in mat only. To guarantee personal attention for every participant we keep our groups small and distinguish with performance levels. According to your physical capabilities we first suggest a try out class where the trainer can advice you which level suits you best. Each level has it’s own challenges and pace.
Group lessons lasts 60 min or 75min. and for three months periods (January-April / May-July / July-August / Sep-Dec
Private lessons
Personal sessions provide the chance for a single focus: the trainer can dedicate all her attention to your personal needs. An initial physical screening will provide the information needed to deliver a program that suits your personal needs, builds on your strengths and works on your weaknesses.
Personal sessions can help with the recovery from injuries, support women’s condition during and after their pregnancy, top sporters and people with demanding schedules with their inner balance.
The session may include mat work and equipment allowing us to speak to your needs, follow your pace and physical capacities. Moreover, they provide an opportunity for a more integrated approach, addressing the relationship between self-perception and physical possibilities, enhancing one’s inner balance, connecting body and mind.
A private lesson last for an hour.
Duo / Trio / Quartet lessons
After a minimum of 10 private lessons, we also offer the possibility for duo/trio/quartet lessons. These provide an attractive and effective way of personalized training together with someone from the same level.
