Pilates TRX

This class uses Pilates, TRX suspension straps and your body weight to give you a rewarding, full body work out.

When: Mondays 17.00 – 18.00 hr

with Patrick Radu 

Fully adaptable to your strength and fitness level, you’ ll work every muscle in your body (and probably find ones you didn’t know you had) to challenge strength, conditioning and balance.
Men and women will be rewarded with some great results!

 

Power Core

Props and core fitness exercises take your Pilates practice into an all-out session where you will feel (and work) all of your core muscles.

When: Fridays 17.00 – 18.00 hr

with Patrick Radu

We will build towards more strength and stability, with a creative twist.
Exercises are done with longer holds and the addition of different props or equipment such as balls, Bosu balls and foam rollers.

 

Safe®Floor

The concept of Safe®Floor is as innovative as it is inclusive. Micro-spherical stretching is performed in a spiral and in slowness. This back and forth of circular expansion and contraction strengthens the deepest muscle layers.

When: Wednesdays 13.00 – 14.15 hr

Another major asset of this technique is its sponge effect which massages and regenerates the fasciae, these connective tissues that govern our organs and our internal and external systems.

The impacts are breathtaking and with immediate effects, SAFE® FLOOR gives you more joint freedom, more muscle flexibility, while releasing endorphins that soothe pain and stress.

SAFE® FLOOR is suitable for everyone who is comfortable working out on the mat.

 

Master the Mat

Come and challenge your body and deepen your understanding of Pilates!

When: Tuesdays 10.00 – 11.00 hr

with Turid Dramé

The Matwork is the gateway into Pilates for many of us and also the hardest part of the Pilates method to truly master.

In these classes Turid will break down, explain and train with you the 34 exercises written by Joseph Pilates in his book “Return to life through Contrology”.

During these classes you will understand the work deeper in your body and you will know when and how to make adjustments for yourself.

This is a (semi) advanced level class. We recommend to have some Pilates experience.

 

 

Roller Pilates

Foam rolling isn’t always for the faint hearted.

Here is your chance to learn to have it work for you!

When: Tuesdays 11.00 – 12.00 hr

with Turid Dramé

With the roller you are applying compression to your muscles and fascia by leaning on it and moving your body backward and forward over it. We will focus on the spine and the head, challenge the core and find alignment as well as relaxation and massage.

 

Pilates Next Level

In this advanced level 2/3 class we explore the traditional Pilates exercises on a higher and less traditional level, challenging you with an ‘out-of-the-box’ approach.

When:

Fridays 12:30 – 13:30 with Annemieke Jonas

The class is ideal for those who are serious about getting their Pilates practice on a higher level, either as a teacher (finding inspiration) or as a student looking for improvement of your overall fitness.

The preparative movements quickly progress into more advanced, making this class unsuited for those with injuries, limitations in spinal mobility and lack of control.

 

Pilates Posture

We all know good posture when we see it, and we all want to have it. It’s sexy and confident and key to keeping the body youthful!

 When: Thursdays 10:00 – 11: 00

We spend a great deal of time looking at screens, carrying heavy bags, and rushing around for our jobs, kids, hobbies and …. Sometimes even our exercise routines are not helping us to have a real sense of our longest strongest selves. 
With Pilates Posture the aim is to create space in your body, a looser neck and shoulders, freedom of the limbs, and a general sense of being taller and lighter on your feet.

This class will focus on finding gentle alignment and strength to allow you to stand tall, and learn how to apply it to daily activities. By finding good head placement, upper back mobility, core strength and an efficiently functioning pelvic girdle, we can stand taller and move with greater freedom. This will help with pain relief throughout the body, remove organ compression, and improve circulation as well as promote good breathing and movement efficiency.
