Anna discovered her passion for dance and moving at a young age. She was educated as a classical ballerina and danced professionally at “Het National Ballet” and “Compania nacional de Danza de Mexico”.
The support of Pilates and Gyrotonics helped her to recover from a serious injury. In 1999 she completed her career as a performing artist.
Studio Annamora was founded in 2005 with the idea of offering a personal environment in which people can take distance from their hectic lives and focus on their (physical) desires and needs.
With her own experience in teaching and studying a variety of methods (Floor Barre, Pilates, Ballet, Pilates equipment, Gyrokinesis), to focus on a single method seemed too dogmatic. The vision of the studio is that each method adds to another, giving people the unique opportunity for customized training and continuous learning in a peaceful space.
I train with Anna Mora for more than 7 years now. Initially doing Pilates I switched over to ballet lessons 3 years ago. Being 53 years old at the time and never did any ballet before, one can imagine the amount of patience Anna had with me and the creativity needed.
Every single lesson has been a complete blast and not one has been the same. Anna and her trainers are all highly professional, kind and fun. This is an empowering experience that I wish for everyone to be part of. It is the best. PV
