Active Stretching & Meditation classes

A series of 5 classes on consecutive Mondays from 16:30 till 17:45 with Suzanna Stok
Stretching will unblock imbalances and tensions we all build up in daily life.
It helps to stay connected with one’s strengths and weaknesses and to transform them into challenges.
Deep/therapeutic stretching can cure many discomforts as a stiff or weak back, headaches and neck pain and Repetitive Strain Injury such as tennis arm and carpal tunnel syndrome. Continue reading

Ball Dynamics

In this fun and dynamic class, you will be aided and challenged by the use of balls of all sizes.
Whether it’s massaging with Franklin balls or doing push ups with a fitness ball, come prepared to activate your core, experiment with movement, test your limbs, and find joy playing with the balls. And, you never know what other props will pop up!
This is Level 2 due to the challenge of fitness balls and is not a class for beginners.
Please come to this class with a basic knowledge of the Pilates principles and the ability to sustain core activation. Continue reading
Long bands/props

With Pilates long bands and props you can make Pilates exercises more fun, interesting and enjoyable.
When: Mondays 12:30 – 13:30 with Jill Locke.
This class details each prop’s unique characteristics and explains how it can enhance Pilates in its own way: the magic circles tone arms, the small ball held between the legs shapes thighs, the foam roller stretches the chest and shoulders, and the large exercise ball builds core stability. From September 5th we organize twice a week during lunch hour on Tuesdays and Fridays More than Core class.
Transformation takes place by stepping out of your comfort zone. More than Core takes the regular Pilates workout into the unknown.
Let’s step off the mat and re-invent our locomotion (walking, squatting, crawling, rolling). With this element of training we improve the power of your arms and legs and their joint quality. Continue reading

We will focus on breathing techniques, spinal and lower extermity alignment.
