During her physiotherapy studies, Monica became interested in body-mind connection. Since then she has accomplished a wide range of specialized-studies in the field of body & mind (e.g. psychomotricity and psychophysical psychotherapy).
She completed a PhysioPilates teacher education in Finland, and currently she is studying Polestar Pilates Comprehensive education.
In her Pilates classes, Monica strives to create a safe, relaxing and playful atmosphere where everybody can enjoy their body, movement and breathing. Her aim is to support people in appreciating their body more, gaining positive experiences and feeling really “at home” in their body.
Monica is a certified Pilates Polestar Studio trainer.
Since July 2015 I have attended Monica’s pregnancy pilates class on Sunday mornings, a great way to keep in shape during your pregnancy! Monica is able to keep a nice tempo, while applying a great variety of excercices. Never a dull moment during her class!
She is extremely experienced when it comes to taking into account the physical limits of a pregnancy and meanwhile guarantee real excercise. I always return home feeling revitalized, even now 37 weeks into my pregnancy. I will certainly return for her post-natal class!
